Starting your baby’s weaning journey can feel overwhelming. One day you’re managing milk feeds, the next you’re faced with endless decisions about when to start, what foods to introduce, how to prevent fussy eating and ensure it has a positive impact on sleep. There’s so much information available that it can be difficult to know which approach is best for your baby’s individual needs, sleep patterns, and long-term relationship with food.
If you find yourself saying ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, this course is for you.

It’s particularly valuable for parents who want to understand not just what to feed, but how to create positive, lifelong eating habits which compliment sleep and health.
In this four-module course, you’ll gain a complete understanding of the weaning process, from first foods to establishing healthy eating patterns. You’ll learn how to integrate solid foods with your baby’s sleep routine, understand the importance of varied nutrition, and develop strategies to prevent fussy eating. Along with the core modules, you’ll receive easy-to-follow recipes suitable for both puree and baby-led weaning approaches – no weighing required! These recipes are family-friendly, nutritionally balanced, and designed for busy parents.
A practical, comprehensive guide to help you navigate every stage of your baby’s weaning journey. Here’s what you’ll learn in each module:
In Module One, we explore the foundations of weaning for babies aged 5-7 months. You’ll learn to recognise genuine readiness signs, understand optimal timing for starting solids, and discover why a balanced approach to first foods is crucial. We’ll cover how to structure routines around meals, safely introduce allergens, and create a positive start to your weaning journey.
Module Two focuses on advancing your baby’s food journey from 7-18 months. You’ll learn about incorporating different textures and flavours, understanding the role of finger foods, and managing milk feeds alongside solids. We’ll explore menu planning, the importance of varied nutrition, and how to adapt routines as your baby grows.
Module Three addresses the critical topic of fussy eating. You’ll learn preventive strategies, understand why toddlers often become selective eaters, and discover how your own mealtime behaviour influences your child’s eating habits. We’ll provide practical solutions for common challenges and tools to build positive food relationships.
Module Four delves into Baby-Led Weaning (BLW). You’ll understand the principles behind this approach, explore its benefits and challenges, and learn how to implement it safely. We’ll provide specific BLW-friendly recipes and practical tips to help you decide if this method is right for your family.
Just to say thank you Hannah for your weaning course. I was getting a bit lost with how much milk vs how much solids to be giving and doing your course has really helped me to get a grip of it. And... my little one is literally eating EVERYTHING (including olives!)

I’ve spent the last 25 years helping families with their babies and children.
In my twenties I completed three university courses – in Paediatric Nursing, Nutritional Therapy and Cranial Sacral Therapy, whilst traveling the world nannying for pro golfers.
In my thirties I raised my own 3 children (Oliver born in 2008, Ella in 2012 and Henry in 2015), built a house, and founded and grew my new parenting business.
Through Sleep Well with Hannah, I’ve brought together all my experience and training to help hundreds of other families learn to juggle family life and, most importantly, sleep well.
I see myself as more than a sleep trainer – my deep knowledge in babies and children is what makes families feel confident in my hands, and is what makes my programmes, talks and courses work.
Through my CALM (Consistent, Achievable, Loving and Manageable®) approach to parenting I not only teach parents how to manage their baby’s feeding, weaning, nutrition, behaviour, and my most popular subject – sleep – I also teach confidence and how to enjoy juggling life with a baby. My greatest achievement is bringing many families out of dark, sleepless places to enjoying day to day life with their happy, sleeping baby.
I recommend this course to anyone who is struggling with their toddler’s behaviour as this can be a very simple issue to address with the right knowledge and tools, which I will teach you in this course.
