Teething Pain and Sleep

A step-by-step course to help your baby through illness and teething while protecting their sleep

When your baby is unwell or teething, everything can feel overwhelming. Your usually happy little one becomes unsettled, their sleep patterns change, and you’re left exhausted and uncertain about how to help them. What worked yesterday might not work today, and it’s hard to know when to push through and when to adjust your approach. Whether it’s a sudden temperature, persistent cough or teething pain, their sleep is usually impacted.

If you find yourself saying ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, this course is for you.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for parents and caregivers navigating the challenges of childhood illness and teething. Whether you’re dealing with your baby’s first cold, managing multiple teeth coming through, or trying to maintain sleep routines during illness, this course provides practical support. It’s particularly valuable for parents who want to understand how to protect sleep patterns while supporting their little one through these challenging phases.

What will you get from this course?

In this two-module course, you’ll gain practical strategies for managing both illness and teething while minimising sleep disruptions. You’ll learn how to recognise early warning signs, understand when to seek medical attention, and develop techniques to support your baby’s comfort and sleep. Most importantly, you’ll receive guidance on maintaining your own wellbeing during these challenging periods, helping you stay resilient when your baby needs you most.

What you will learn

In Module One, we explore common childhood illnesses and their impact on sleep. You’ll learn preventive strategies, how to recognise dehydration, and manage different symptoms from coughs to fevers. We’ll cover when to adjust routines, how to handle feeding during illness, and practical tips for maintaining sleep habits while providing the extra comfort your baby needs. You’ll gain confidence in knowing when to seek medical help and how to support your baby’s recovery.

Module Two focuses on understanding and managing teething. You’ll learn to identify teething signs, distinguish between teething and illness symptoms, and discover effective pain management strategies. We’ll explore how teething affects sleep patterns, provide techniques for minimising sleep disruptions, and share practical tips for helping your baby (and you) get through particularly challenging nights. You’ll also learn how to transition back to normal routines once teeth have emerged.

I feel a much more confident parent for having Hannah’s advice to hand.

Hi I'm Hannah Love

I’ve spent the last 25 years helping families with their babies and children.

In my twenties I completed three university courses – in Paediatric Nursing, Nutritional Therapy and Cranial Sacral Therapy, whilst traveling the world nannying for pro golfers.

In my thirties I raised my own 3 children (Oliver born in 2008, Ella in 2012 and Henry in 2015), built a house, and founded and grew my new parenting business.

Through Sleep Well with Hannah, I’ve brought together all my experience and training to help hundreds of other families learn to juggle family life and, most importantly, sleep well.

I see myself as more than a sleep trainer – my deep knowledge in babies and children is what makes families feel confident in my hands, and is what makes my programmes, talks and courses work.

Through my CALM (Consistent, Achievable, Loving and Manageable®) approach to parenting I not only teach parents how to manage their baby’s feeding, weaning, nutrition, behaviour, and my most popular subject – sleep – I also teach confidence and how to enjoy juggling life with a baby.  My greatest achievement is bringing many families out of dark, sleepless places to enjoying day to day life with their happy, sleeping baby.

I recommend this course to anyone who is struggling with their toddler’s behaviour as this can be a very simple issue to address with the right knowledge and tools, which I will teach you in this course.
